The downside of building a bigger bookshelf is I have to move everything off the existing one first. It's all 'there's no such thing as too many books' until you have to move them all into piles in the corner for construction.

Anyway. While I'm moving things around, anybody want a photo tour of the random items stored on top of my bookshelves? Statistically speaking at least some of them are probably cool.

I very rarely take pics and when I do they're usually just quick snapshots of things I thought were pretty (sunsets, sunrises) or funny (the seagull stalking me/my lunch, trying to be inconspicuous about it) or just really cute (my partner's cat stretching her leggies out in her sleep, claws and all lmao)

Inwas tagged by exactly nobody (but I voted in @ihni's and @thatgirlwithasquid's polls so it totally counts!) to make a poll of five things i have in my home and let people decide what they’d want to steal.

Added info: aside from the skull, I did everything else, anywhere between middle school and a few years ago. The skull used to contain Halloween candies. It has paper eyes for maximum creepiness.

Culo is ass (NOT as in the animal) in my cute lovely language. I have no idea how we didn't notice the CULO on the strip of paper until the star was already folded, but, you know, what's done is done, off it goes, on the garland/wreath/thing 🤷‍♀️
